Herb Butter Recipe
How to make herb butters. These are so simple to make and add so much flavor to your proteins, vegetables, bread, pastas or potatoes. One of my favorite is Tarragon butter (great with steaks)!
- 1/2 C softened butter
- 1/4 C chopped fresh tarragon
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
Stir all of the ingredients together. Chill for about 20 minutes. Get a piece of plastic wrap out and when chilled roll the herb butter into a log. Tie the ends off and you can freeze. Take out as needed.
Use this procedure for different butters, like cilantro lime butter, garlic butter the options are endless.
