How to cut a pineapple:

You can purchase a pineapple already cut up, however, it’s super easy to do it yourself and a lot less expensive

  • Using a chef’s knife cut about 1/2” off the top and bottom of the pineapple, resting on one of the cut ends.  Slice the rind off in strips and cutting out as many eyes as possible.
  • With a paring knife cut remaining eyes out of the pineapple.  
  • Quarter the pineapple lengthwise, trim the core from each quarter and slice or dice as you prefer.
