Saving spilled spices:
It always happens when measuring herbs there always seems to be spillage. So to prevent waste, take a plastic lid and cut a small notch into the lid to form a spout. Hold the measuring spoon over the plastic lid and let all the spillage fall onto the lid. After you are done measuring fold the lid like a taco and let the herbs fall back into its container. Rinse and reuse.
